Travelling with pets.
To ensure the comfort and safety of all passengers (both two-legged and four-legged) we ask that all borrowers follow the Car Share pet policy:
Pick a pet friendly vehicle.
Customers intending to transport pets must select a 'Pet-Friendly' vehicle at the time of booking.
Transporting Pets.
All designated 'Pet-Friendly' vehicles are SUV style wagons with a spacious, climate-controlled cargo area connected to the cabin. Pets are only allowed in the cargo hold at the rear of the vehicle. Pets are not permitted in the cabin area of any vehicle at any time. Pets must be either in an enclosed pet carrier or the borrower must use the provided pet liner to minimise pet hair and to ensure general vehicle cleanliness. Non-compliance will result in minimum $50 additional cleaning fees.
Non Pet Friendly Vehicles:
Hatchbacks are not pet friendly. Users must choose a car displaying the specific Pet Friendly tag. Unless a car is specifically listed as being pet friendly no pets are allowed. Any Breach of this policy will result in a minimum $100 additional cleaning and deodorizing fee.
Keep it clean.
Vehicles must be returned clean and free of pet hair. Failure to comply with our pet policy (e.g., excessive pet hair, soiling, damage caused by pets, pets in the cabin area) will result in an additional cleaning fee. The fee will be based on the extent of cleaning or repair required.
